North American esports organization Complexity Gaming, a subsidiary of GameSquare Esports, has announced a multi-year partnership with computer and mobile device manufacturer Lenovo.

As part of the deal, Complexity’s Texas-based headquarters will now be named the Lenovo Legion Esports Center.

Lenovo will become Complexity’s exclusive desktop and laptop PC provider. Moreover, the manufacturer’s logo will also be featured on Complexity’s official team jerseys.

Justin Kenna, CEO of GameSquare, commented on the deal: “As the exclusive supplier of world-class desktop and laptop PCs, Lenovo is helping to fuel the future of competitive excellence and powering the business of esports.

“We look forward to ongoing announcements and initiatives with Lenovo as we continue to bridge the gap between brands and fans with the support of world-class companies as customers and as partners.”

According to the release, Lenovo will support Complexity’s pursuit to enhance player performance and improve the industry standard for player care over the course of the partnership. Lenovo’s technology is also set to support Complexity’s content creators and production teams to produce a diverse catalogue of work – including animation and 3D content.

In addition, the two entities will collaborate on new experiences, such as education-centred events that focus on encouraging diversity, inclusivity, internet safety and more.

I'm sure it's a big deal to them but it's a shame esports is overdone on the PC side of things and never on consoles.
